2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Downpipe/Exhaust fix?

Replaced front turn signal bulb, still doesn't work. This side blinks twice as fast as other side (what would cause fast blinking?). Back turn blinker works on this side, while the other side works front and back. Where else should I look? Would the turn signal relay be bad for just one half of one side? Wiring looked good, no abraisions.

That fast blinking is a built in feature to alert you that you have a blown bulb. Or some other fault that prevents a bulb from operating.

Cleaned contacts in front. Checked new bulb with multimeter, and it checked out ok. Could it be something with a back bulb? They are much easier to change. Anyone have tricks to changing the front turn signal bulbs. I had to remove the battery box on the right side to get to it. Have a bumper guard, and removing from the front looked difficult. Can that be done?

Thanks for the replys.

REALLY check the ground situation - take a good digital meter and make sure you have NO voltage difference between battery Neg and the ground in the socket. You might have checked the socket itself and the problem is a ground lug on the lamp harness to the frame (see my post about the turn signal that took my wipers hostage!!!—left turns are always wetter). Also, does the flash rate change when the parking lights are also turned on (and sharing that ground)??? Good luck.

Could also be broken wire, worn insulation on wire leads to the turnn signal. Definitely sounds like it is in the front signal, IMO, but I'd have to see it to fully diagnose it.

Thanks for the picture. I was able to take lens out and inspect the new bulb much easier. When I turned on the parking lights, no change. Parking half of bulb lit up (that was a good sign, I think). This is all on the right front lamp. Will check the back light to see if it is partially out, it still blinks rapidly. All other lights work correctly. When I can, I will also check the ground. Thanks to everyone for helping, I am much further along with the outstanding input. Thanks!!!
