Going down the highway on Saturday, i ditched the truck to avoid wiping out the brand new BMW that spun out and towards me. Small ditch, 4LO and reverse, and i was out no problem. a few minutes down the road, my turn signals stopped working. Pulled over, checked the fuse, didn't help any. Got to Graphic Man's shop, a few guys looked her over, found the flasher was pooched. Swapped it with the hazard flasher... nothing. bought a new one yesterday, nothing. Checked as much wiring as i could find related to the signals, couldnt find anything that looked like a problem. Anyone have any ideas? This whole cutting people off thing kinda sucks. Thanks for any replies

Come on folks... no replies? I need my baby back in action. :( I've read everything i could find through search. Any wires that could be messed up? Water in something? Hidden relay or fuse??

You can try pulling your multifunction switch and run a continuity test between the contacts and see if the switch is the culprit. I don't have my Haynes book in front of me right now, but if you have access to one check the correct pin connectors with a self-powered test light. Also check the wiring harness in the column to make sure it seems intact. The tilt columns in these trucks can cause problems in cold climates. Good luck!

As Jong stated, the loom at the tilt steering joint; Key on, turn signal to L or R position, move wire loom back and forth. Also try "holding" the signal arm in the high/low beam position while trying the turn signals.

Just some look-at ideas for trouble shooting
