Without the turnbuckle the wastegate will open limiting you to about 20 psi. If I recall correctly, the turnbuckle disables the wastegate completely. That should't be much of a problem at your fueling level, but there is a spring loaded J hook available that alows the wastegate to open around 30 psi.

I took out the elbow and put in a bolt that matched the threads and a little thread lock... . So it is blocked off completely.

I just put a hard paper clip on hose, it restricts most of vac and I have max 28lbs of boost.



I will test it more, but I already put 200 miles on it and it stays at same settings.



Easiest and cheapest mod I ever done to a vehicle... .

HY-35 has a steel line not a rubber hose like the HX-35s. I have a j-hook if you need it.

Vise-grip, works on steel too..... get the smallest size, you can adjust the pressure.



I am not going to spend another $ 90 for a bolt with a spring like some vendors sell, sorry guys... . I did it once and it "aint gonna happen again"

Go to Home depot and get a spring,turnbukle and a couple of S-hooks, check the overal length you need before you start.

No problem Iam just trying to help out. Be gald to help with the Mach 1. 6s also get them sooner like june no core charge. The turbomaster works great on a HX-35.
