Anyone using one of these? Seems like a good idea... leaves the bed free of the rails for the fiver hitch. I am shopping for a new fifth wheel and need to get as much info as possible on everything before we make the leap.
Just installed one tonight. Looks very clean. I read every thing I could find on them. Only one negitive experience from an "all towing" forum saying it would shift forward & back while towing. It was cured however.
All you do is take out your goose ball then fit the square tubing in its place, the base assembly sets on top of the tubing. one bolt cinches it down firmly in place. Once in place two u bolts also wrap around the tubing to the front face of the base. Then just set the head on top of the adjustable risers and pin it with the two pins.

Pullrite makes a fifth wheel hitches with a " Super Rail" system that leaves the bed completely clear when the hitch is out. The toll free number is on their website at www.pullrite.com
so can someone compare the Pull Right to a Reese system... never had either one ... just trying to find the very best... looking at 25K system. . for G/N and 5er
I have Pullrite's 25. 5 fifth wheel hitch and I will tell you this puppy is BUILT like a tank. The base rails are half inch steel and the entire thing is over engineered. The positive latch is very smooth and extremely strong. They make a GN setup for the same base rails. I wanted the best and I got it in my opinion. A quality product and backed by great customer service. I don't think the Reese is in the same league. And no, I don't work for Pullrite but I do get downright enthusiastic about a great product. FWIW
