TV Add-F*rd & Ch*vy

Has anyone seen the new f*rd TV add at the drag strip racing a ch*vy pulling a trailer ? At the end, it states fo*d has the most horsepower and torque of any diesel pickup. Did they raise the power on the new 6. 0 to compete with the new Cummins ? They don't give any data with the add.

I believe that commercial is old and not up to date. It was before the cummins 600 came out.

Right, it's an old commercial. Not that that particular company nor many of their customers who blindly buy their products time and time again would be overly concerned with truth in advertising...

They showed that commercial over and over and over and over again during the Football Conference championship games.

Technically they are correct. At the time the adds aired the were not any 600's at the dealers to buy. I think it is a cheep last shot effort to leave people with impression that the ford is on top just days before it is dethroned.

Let's hope that Dodge is smart enough to return the favor during the Superbowl. Now that would be one commercial I wouldn't mind watching over and over and over again

I have not seen it in a while but are'nt they refering to gas engines and not the diesel engine?

No, they are refering to the diesels. I wonder why they aren't challenging a Cummins powered Ram?
