Firefighter movie with a 3Gen C&C in it.

Stabilicers

I know that everyone has seen the TV commercial where a guy about 20+ with his mom talking about insurance and how they come out to fix flat tires. Another one of two twerps that don't know what a frigging lug-wrench looks like. I thought that to be IMPOSSIBLE until we were leaving the Alan Jackson concert and low and behold three ignorant simpletons next to us had a flat.

PATHETIC

Don't worry, they can find the instructions on how to change a tire on their phone between Instagram or Twitter posts.

I jumped right on the helping part, I told them to let me move my car to give them more room for working. I gave them 40 MILES worth of room from Indy to our home.

HA HA HA HA HA HA

And I know if there had been any danger to them (very cold, sketchy area, etc.) you would have helped.

I stopped last winter on the interstate to help a fellow driver. It was a cold night and I saw he had it jacked up and the spare was out but he appeared to be struggling...backed up and got my car behind his.
What happened was one of those stupid lug nuts with the cover on had screwed up and his lug wrench would not fit. I had to split the cover and dig it out so I could get one of my smaller sockets on the nut. He was at least giving it the old college try..

This took place within the Indy 465 loop anyplace within the 50 + mile loop is Sketchy, One of the Higher UP's at work lives within that loop in what has to be a Million $ home. The reason for the Sketch-ie-ness is one or two streets away is some pretty hardcore Congo-neese.

I have a CCW Permit and I DONT LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT OR THE HEATER THAT GOES WITH IT!!! ;)

Skipped Driver's ED in High School? This isn't mean to let them sort it out. Many professionals are employed to change a tire. Leave it to the professionals. Being a good Samaritan takes food off their table and puts you at risk even from SOB's you are helping: because if something goes wrong you get sued for the scratch on their car, injuries, sprains, etc. Some states now protect you from this type of lawsuit.

I don't remember Drivers ED teaching us anything about any kind of maintenance. I went to the real drivers ed where it was a scheduled class not one like our kids went through were it was out of school with a certified company. I was able to have my Permit before the law changed that required Drivers Ed before issuance of a permit. I didn't get to drive all that much in class unless Mr McClusky had the **** scared out of him by some inept stooge.

I took our Yahoos to a Giant lot that used to be Ontario Motor Speedway and taught them MY REQUIREMENTS, One they know how to drive a standard transmission & which way to turn the wheel in a skid. Mike mentioned changing a tire on the Interstate I made it perfectly clear if they had a flat on the Freeway DRIVE IT TO THE NEXT OFF RAMP which in Commiefornia is most generally a mile, the tire & the rim are probably trash anyway. Rather than becoming a statistic of being hit outside the car.

Years ago, a young lady working for the local paper had a flat in a big old Chevy Kingswood wagon. She changed that tire and didn't even get dirty. I betcha she had a BigNasty type dad who was not a wuss and did more than just breed her mother. Tip of the hat, Big!

What kills me about the commercial is mom is practically bragging about her son being both clueless and helpless. If word ever got out that I couldn't change a tire at half that kids age my mother would have died of embarrassment.
