Installed two new batteries recently in the '08. Suddenly the dash board cut in and out, speedo stopped working, and she threw

Codes

P2509 ECM/PCM Power Input Signal Intermittent
P0501 Vehicle Speed Sensor
U0121 Lost connection with Anti Lock Brakes (ABS) Control Module#@$%!

First thought was the batteries but they were a little low no big deal, alternator tested fine as well...

Anyone had a similar experience????? Thanks as always... ho Ho HO!

Keep driving and the ECM will learn it has new batteries. At least thats what happened when I changed batteries without following the recommended procedure. The codes just went away after a few driving cycles.

Keep at least one battery connected while you change them out so the ECM doesn't suddenly lose 12 V power. I had a CEL for 3 days. The service guy at the dealer said to ignore and keep driving, just need some engine cycles is all.

Ya that's exactly what I did, read too many post throwing codes when disconnecting the whole system

I just changed batteries last week. I did them one at-a-time and used a pair of large gauntlet leather gloves to insulate the terminals when they were disconnected. Looked kind of funny, but worked perfectly.
