I wanted to get an idea if the turbos would work before i decide on the fuel. I am shooting for 1200-1300hp which I think that turbo combo will support, just dont know how street friendly it will be!
Don't know how old this post is, but good to see someone using performance turbos! depending on the amount of power you want to produce, I think the setup that would get you close to 1khp would be a 4088r 82ar with a gt47 1. 08ar second stage, probably dual 44mm tial gates between the two. A gt 40 is pretty large to begin with, and a 60 is HUGE, you will never get it to do its thing unless you are running a full dragster/pulling setup with lots of rpm's the 4088r is ball bearing and with the 82ar, you will actually be able to drive it. A gt47 flows about twice the air of say an ht3b, you should have more airflow than you could possibly ever need. A GT60 is so big, I don't think it would do anything, let alone making it fit in your truck if you have ever seen one in person the compressor wheel is almost 4" in diameter (on the inducer) I think they rate that thing close to 1800hp for a gas engine. Hope all this helps you,
