First Twin System

Andrew,



This is my first system. Kinda ran what I had on the shelf. It didn't work. We've come a long way since this version. I went to the over under config on my next system. It's more concise and I feel the exhaust route is more efficient. You can leave the second battery in place with the O/U config.

If he's using that nicely made exhaust elbow (that I'd really like to buy!!) to connect the exhaust sides of both turbos... then he's gone with the O/U setup. This setup does make for a very clean install and an efficient downpipe routing scheme..... less bends is better for flow.



Several of the setups I have seen in use have external wastegates with the bypass vented to atmosphere... . which accounts for the soot coming from the underside of the truck towards the cab/engine... . and the very distinctive sound they make. If you watch the TIM videos you can see which trucks have this and which don't..... it's obvious.



I won't reveal any more of the 'secrets'.....

Andrew, you were able to post a pic just fine near as I can tell. The one I posted seems to open for me as well. Do you think that K-Arts could have

an anti picture virus obscuring his netvision?



K-Arts, to bad you couldn't make it to Ogden for the dyno day Saturday. After stopping at ATS we blew right through Denver en route for Cheyenne.

Very good time had by all at Edge Products.

It would have been a blast to go to Ogden... I had to work though... . and they wouldn't let me off. That's ok though... maybe next year.



You should have said something about coming to Denver..... It would have been totally cool to finally meet you in person and say "Thanks" for all of the times that you have helped me out.



Definately let me know whenever you come through this way. I'd love to see that sissy truck of yours... LOL (Just Kidding)... and take you out for dinner.

Got Turbos?

Chris Sutton's sled pulling truck sportin' a hot new twin turbo system. It gets a trial under fire next weekend at two separate sled pulls. We might call this system using the B1 turbo the Performance Diesel Dominator series twins.
