I've noticed that all twin setup on cummins are ran in series. Has anyone ever thought of or tried building a special manifold that would allow 3 cylinders to run one turbo and the other 3 another turbo? Just a wild idea.
If you used two hy9,s you would cut your drive pressure in half as well as your boost. I thought about doing it a while ago but could not see any real gain. If you are after more boost you have to stack them in order to stay in their pressure ratio.
yes, seen it done. i don't know how they were compared to regular twins since the injectors were unstreetable anyways. it did make good power, but i have nothing to compare it to.
