O. K. twins have been out for a while now. What kind of mileage are you getting? What injectors are you running and what fueling box on what level. Was it worth the $4000?

Do a search and shop around. Its not uncommon to see a twin setup put together for $1000 now maybe more.

One member just updated the forum on his "home built twins" in the products forum. Already having the HX40 to work with his HX35 his setup only cost $400 to build just for materials basically. :--)

You usually don't get into the thousands unless you have them professionally built/installed.

The high cost is due to lots of research to control drive pressures... . Enterprise does this with machining. Anyone can throw two turbos together. It takes research and patience to get them to work symbiotically.

To answer the questions you wanted Greg, I'm getting between 18. 5 to 21 mpg. I'm running the ATS 30% extrude honed 370's (12v) injectors. Because it is a 12v there is no box to speak of. And they were no where near $ 4000. 00 dollars. Depending on where I set my waste gate for boost seems to have a direct correlation to the fuel mileage. The more boost I carry going down the road the lower the mileage. So I have it at about 70 pounds most of the time to get better mileage.

I'm running modified BD2 injectors (flow like BD3's) coupled with an automatic transmission and a 3. 54 rearend. On highway, I'm getting 18-20 MPG with average boost being 15psi. This is with my comp box turned off. With it set to level 2x3, I get closer to 20-21 MPG. I've got my wastegate set to 50psi.

Edit: I spent MUCH less than $1000 for my turbo setup because I did it myself. Many others will tell you the same. Was it worth it? Definitely!
