Looks like my V16's on my 1500kw standby gensets, they have duel compound chargers, one set for each bank.

Huh, Our cat 2003 3412 800 KW has 4 turbos!
Seriously, nice photos Chris.
I almost hate working on it. It sits up about 4 feet off the ground on top of its fuel tank and our company opted not to buy the service platform. The coolant hose feeding the block heater sprang a leak two years ago. Low level alarm sounded. After we replaced the hose I climbed a ladder 10 feet to get to the top of the yellow enclosure. The boss tossed me about 25 jugs of antifreeze. Job took 4 hours from start to finish. It was about 35 outside when we cold started it. After 20 seconds on the starter it caught and smoked like a forest fire. I was on top to keep check on the coolant level. Guess what is right beside the radiator cap. Big Honking exhaust boiling blue smoke. I had to take two showers that night to remove all the diesel smell. Second thought, I don't like working on it one bit. I do like hearing it crank once a week.

JJ page

these are marine engines used for the z drives in the picture..... Eddie the z drives and engines are for a excursion vessel called queen of the north.

Skydiver here is a picture of on of our 3412 cat Gen sets we are only rated at 500 KW eith a single large turbo
