Just kidding...

Dang, when you put it like that, I don't stand a chance! :-laf

I may try the "beer" competition though. ;) (note to self: bring an economy bottle of asprin)

Later, Rob

Dont forget the...

Pedialite for breakfast! All us aspiring middle aged drinkers are using it. One bottle and a half hour later, no more hangover.

I do want to reinstate that Alcohol is NOT permitted at the Gaston Lion's Club Park. If the Sheriff catches you drinking beer or any other alcoholic beverage, he will offer to put it outside the gate and you can pick it up after the event. I will advise all to seriously consider this offer as the alternative is to miss the rest of the day.

Thanks Eric...

I usually wait to hit the suds when all the action is over anyways. Its hard to catch all the carnage when your pie-eyed. I do appreciate the "heads-up" about the no booze on the site, and will fully respect it. Not being from the area, I have to ask: Are most of the events "over that way" dry? I noticed the same at Schieds. This is a different concept to me being from the land of beer and cheese. :D

Pretty much, if an event is held at a Lions Club park, or a County Fairgrounds, it is dry.

If the event is a Catholic school fundraiser, it is wet, REALLLY wet!!

Mantua Ox Roast, Ohio, get plastered and sit on the white line, be part of the action!

Like Gene said, it's a Lion's Club International thing. You can drink at the tracks.

The Indy 500 infield is like Mardi Gras with out the fags... . :p

I've got a buddy getting married on Friday. :( Do you guys think he'd miss his best man at the wedding? :D

I'll be there the whole day Saturday but have to be back Sunday to help with the reception clean up. :{ (It's a Catholic wedding so it'll be messy):-laf :-laf Come to think of it, that's going to be a long drive with a hangover Saturday morning.

And also Diesel Sport Promotions- Do we have to weigh in there if we can get a CAT certified scale here or do we have to scale there before the pull? What time are the pulls thinkin about startin this year?

you can do whatever you want, but you will be driving over the scales right before you hook for final weigh in.

Crap! I better see if I can rent the park!;) :D

While we're on the subject of weight/pulls.....

How does it work?

Let's say a truck weighs 5800#... . is there a minimum weight? I saw folks adding weight last year (not off the front of the truck... )... but maybe that was just so they could run in the 7k and 8k class... . ?

Other than that it's 26" max hitch height and 3" I. D. loop... . and pretty much run what you brung after that... .
