So while I'm having some paint repairs done on my truck I decided to splurge and get it two-toned. My truck is patriot blue and the other color will be a dark graphite color used for two tone with blue on 2011 trucks (adding fender flares too).
My question for those of you that have two-tone, where exactly is the paint line? I know it's in the recess line that runs the length of the truck but I don't know if the line is in the middle of it or towards the top?

Or.., my paint guy suggested having the line at the top of the crease with a red double pin-stripe to finish it. What do you think of that?

Thanks.
Scotty

I had the bottom of my 2009 truck painted to be two-tone. I am not home right now to give a definitive answer as to where the paint line should start. I can get other pics if needed.
I did find this picture on my work computer that may help a bit.
I would also advise in having some type of chip guard sprayed over the paint for protection as well as mud flaps. The factory flaps seem to do a good job keeping the cow manure, mud and rocks from hitting the truck. They are not low enough to protect a trailer in tow from rocks/debris.
