You could always get a single color and do the lower trim of the truck in permatech or rhino. That would protect the paint from the inevitable chips. I'm not at all impressed with the paint durability on this truck.

On these trucks I like the two tone, on other truck, I like singel colors. But when I see the third gens all one color, it just seems like too much truck for one color. To me it needs something to set it off. I like the look of the lower part being the mirror finish instead of two tone. I also like the two tone with matching flares.

Two Tone

Mine is Deep Garnet Red over Silver and I love it, just because I like the way the two tone breaks up the body lines on the sides of the truck. Oo. Oo.

I've lusted over the both the black/red and red/white two tones they have on some GEN2s. This is not the chinsy two tones where just the bottom rocker panels are one color and the rest another. As I remember The hood and maybe rockers were one color and the rest the other? My . 02.

Two tone? Nope, not for me. Heck, I always buy the sport option to get rid of the chrome grill, bumpers, etc. Then they stick all those ugly chrome letters & numbers on the sides and rear. Gotta do a de-emblem, then I may have all the black trim pieces painted red, you know, the pieces on the front end. Did that on my '03 hemi. Looked sharp. I might even paint the door handles and mirrors and have the wheels powder coated. Red Rules! Of this is JOIBO!
