Type of underhood engine insulation

Do you guys know what type dodge uses on the 3rd Gen's? Is it fiberglass? I am asking because the dealer washed my engine and soaked everything. The hood liner was damaged but they replaced it. I did some research on fiberglass home insulation, it will dry out and not lose to RF value, which is the measure of insulation quality. So as long as the stuff is intact (not drooping as my hood liner was) it should be ok. Never-the-less it is not a good idea to get this stuff (or a thousand other things) under the hood wet.

Wow... my '03 has firewall insulation but nothing on the underside of the hood! Already too quiet I thing...

Sorry, miss read, you already got the underhood replaced. Don't know if ATP can provide firewall replacement.
