U-connect Hands Free

Just got the new "Bluetooth" phone for Verision. Finaly was able to install the hands free kit from mopar. It works awesome, able to transfer calls back and forth between phone and truck when getting in and out of the truck. With a push of a button I can access and call from the phones directory, the u-connects directory or voice digit dial . The only downfall I'm having now is the system is a little slow but I have a fair drive and I'm still getting use to it. Just thought I'd share. Oo.

As far as I know, you STILL cannot order U-Connect as a factory option. DC has beeen advertising it for nearly TWO years, it's on all the order sheets, the website and the brochures, but you still cannot order it. I spent a fortune on my truck and got it completely loaded, but could not get the damn U-Connect. While I am stuck buying the add-on kit from Mopar, it is not nearly as slick as ther built-in-the-mirror job that is supposed to be available. I would certainly trade the useless auto-dim mirror feature for the U-Connect as using a handheld cell phone in NYS and NJ is now verboten. Anyone have an update?

Got it from the dealer... ... ... ... ..... I think it was about $200, but not sure anymore... ... ... ... ... . piece of cake to intall.
