Need to replace the main drive shaft u-joints. Looking for some good joints that I can put a grease gun on. Are there any that are not permantly sealed?

I just did all 3 joints on the front driveshaft. I bought mine from Advance auto and they are greaseable. If I remember right I bought the el cheapos for about 13. 00 each and the more expensive ones didnt come with grease fittings. Go figure. Also when you install them with the grease fittings, make sure you keep in mind the position of the zerk so that you can actually get a gun on them. Also dont use the zerks that come with the joints. You will need to put 45* zerks on them if you ever want to grease them. Trust me. I did all three with the straight ones, put the driveshaft on the truck and realized there is no way I could fit a gun on there. The same is true for either shaft, front or rear.

A few companies out there(Spicer is one of them) are putting the grease fitting in the cap. This adds both strength and convenience. Good luck.
