So I'm driving a 13, 3500, 2WD and a 2 piece rear drive shaft.... and sorting out u-joints.

I'm having trouble with why there is a 15155X and a 25155X... are these the same part number or what I should say, the same item in 2 different boxes? Or does the 5-155x a common replacement for either..

In addition, I'm looking for a part number for the carrier bearing, but it doesn't seem to turn up in my searches...

Thanks

@jelag, Might want check out Rockauto.com. They have a Dana 51555X Spicer listed along with others under the standard duty then have heavy duty listings. They also have a differential rebuild kits. I've had good luck with there parts and customer service is great. Easy returns if necessary. Just another choice for our needs.

Jim,

Well how ya been? Surprised you don't have a driveline buddy out there but DIY is a good thing just bandaids not included. Finally retired in '19 and trying hard to goof off as much as possible.

Gary, my drive line buddy is Brian Willig in Terre Haute..... when I called I got the gate keeper, his daughter... haven't gotten a call back k yet...

Can't find the carrier bearing part number... tell me, have you found someone you trust?

Life is good, trying to focus on new house under construction close to kids....

Alls well here except for getting old

Yea, found that, couldn't find the center carrer bearing part number, getting older is tough

I'm not seeing the drive shaft center bearing being separate from the drive shaft. Will look when at other sites to see if it is available. Might be that someone has taken it apart and knows what bearing goes in there.
