Got rid of my 17 3500 DRW for a 22 3500 SRW and it came with Uconnect5 w/12 inch screen.
So far no SiriusXM choice on screen ( dealer can't get any update to work) Now starting to get black screen on start up.

Anyone else having these issues or did I just get lucky

I also have 2022 with 12” screen. While it generally works fine. It does do a couple weird things. Couple times it just doesn’t fire up just black screen and no radio completely dead. A couple times screen is on but the radio presets don’t function. You can change the channel via the steering wheel controls but the screen does not update to the new channel though it is playing it. And last but not least. I think I am beginning to find this one to be fairly consistent. Start truck works fine. Shut truck down and if restart in say less than ten or fifteen minutes the screen is black but can change radio channels and adjust volume via steering wheel. So far fix seems to be shut truck off for about fifteen minutes or so then it comes back fine. Need to take it in but except for the last issue they have only happened twice and I have not been able to duplicate at will. The last reason I am trying to make sure I can duplicate routinely. Last thing I want to do is make multiple trips to dealer only to hear could not duplicate so no fixy

I have a 8 inch screen no real issues yet on my 2022 but I’m not at all impressed with it really. I thought would do amazing things but I’m a bit disappointed

Sounds like bad radio(s)? ... I have almost 20k on mine, never had a single issue...XM went away for one ignition cycle when my 1y complimentary subscription expired and my paid subscription transferred in but that's it... I would take in under warranty, perhaps a cell phone video incase it does not present when the tech is looking at it as evidence.

You may want to wait and see how bad it gets. At least with the 8.4 radio you get a reman, so unless it is terrible all the time you might be better off to stick with the current radio. Mine does something strange every couple weeks but no way I want to try a reman. I would try pulling the radio fuse to reset it. You may have to turn on the radio a couple times after reset to get full function back.
