Uh OH!! Whats wrong?

Ok, I have the ABS and "brake" light on my dash lit. I also noticed that my speedo is not really working below 20mph. When I get above 20, it kinda slides up to speed.



According to the manual, the ABS and brake light come on when the system detects and error between speed sensors, and the brake light comes on when a pressure difference is detected in the brake system.



Since I have the speedo error, I am thinking my rear speed sensor (that is used for ABS and Speedo) is failing.



What do you guys think. It also is supposed to have set a code that I guess I have to get Jeff or someone to lift. Man I got to get a scan tool.

Scratch That

After my post, I notices a thread on the same topic. Think I will change the sensor.



I guess this is rear wheel speed sensor month.

Mind started doing that 2 weeks ago, maybe one of these days I will get around to changing the sensor. How many miles are you at when this occured? I am getting ready to roll over 100k in about 500 miles.

Is this an expensive part? Is is a DC only item?

Mine went out about 3/4 weeks ago at ~84K

Two parts are available get the one with the leade if you aren't sure you might need it, same price. (Same part number I got)
