I'm not sure if it's the ULSD or perhaps they started using winter blend? But I pulled my trailer about 650 miles this past weekend, and I got 12mpg, where I normally get 14-15mpg. Ouch!

Nate,

Where I see the most differance in mileage is when there is a headwind. It doesn't have to be very strong but if your headed into one it'll hurt your mileage. Last year we were heading up the Columbia river gorge into a headwind and averaged 8 mpg for that tank with the overhead reading 4mpg at times :--) Couple of days later across Wyoming 16mpg with a tailwind :)

Nate, I noticed about 1. 5 mpg drop on ULSD also. Gotta love the governments idea of cleaning up the environment. "Lessee here, if we use this new fuel it will cut emissions by X%, nevermind the fact they will be burning more fuel each mile adding more emmissions and cutting into fuel supplies even more!"
