ULSD in 2007 engines

I've heard conflicting stories about the use of the ultra low sulfur diesel in 2007 engines. Must all 2007 model engines use the ULSD or only those 2007 models whose engines were built after Jan 1, 2007?

Here soon it will not matter, we will not be able to buy lsd fuel. Just last week the local flying j truck stop switched to ulsd fuel.

It's probably already there, but there is a problem with station owners and managers not changing the stickers to reflect it.



The final date for transition in the US and Canada to ULSD was October 15th.

Here is a point to ponder: with the particulate filter on the 2007 and the use of ULSD only in these trucks, what additives are going to be compatible with these filters?? Those of us adding MMO, waste engine oil, etc. . , will it plug the filter and cause premature cleaning or failure?? Just something to think about.

That is why I did not want the 6. 7 although my kitty fell off in my driveway at 200 miles.
