Imagine this - it's about dark, you're hunting, you hear an odd noise and you look over the hill to see this thing coming down through the woods, you haven't had the privlidge of knowing such a thing exists - talk about "War of the Worlds. " Black Helicopters hell we're being invaded by Aliens!!!!! This Thing had better be Bullet Proof as I can see Billy Bob trying to kill it and get the Reeeeeward for the Martians!

I watched one set up as a backhoe digging a ditch down a slope so steep that I wouldn't even consider walking on it. Had two foot long spikes on it's pads. Every time he dumped a bucket the dirt went all the way back to the bottom. Very impressive.

The big logging and hauling stuff is made by ARDCO/Traverslift. . www.traverselift.com



Both companies make big big stuff for moving equipment over very soft ground. This type of equipment is used alot in the Arctic where I work because it has such a low impact on the ground and such a big footprints that they exert very minimal force on thin ice.

How would someone be able to get the Plustech walking machine unstuck if it were up to its belly in thick mud?The only thing I could imagine would unstick it would be a large crane.

Sure would be cheap on tires.

Maybe I could afford a used one say,in about 20 or so years.
