I've never been much of a fan of the UN, especially the way they treat the United States. They are located on OUR soil, supported mostly by OUR tax dollars, and receive the largest support by our military, and yet we are the BAD guys to these losers! I think it is time we tell the UN to F*** off!

It is another example of the socialist idea of wealth sharing. Well, I work very, very hard for my money, to buy the things I want. I do not work that hard to support others who are not willing to do the same. The same goes for countries. Those that work hard to generate wealth should not be made to share with those countries who are not willing to work for it. And I don't want to hear any crap about some nations not having the natural resources, etc. to support their own economy. If that is the case, they should not exist as a sovereign nation.

I must say, I'm proud to be a citizen of the United States of America. But every day that goes by where we are bashed, ridiculed or denigrated by others in the world, and we do NOTHING to stand up for ourselves, makes it harder for me to feel that way. And that is a terrible feeling, and complete betrayal of those who have fought and died for this country and the ideals it was founded on.

So, write your Senators, Congressmen & women and the President that the United States should no longer support, participate or affiliate with the UN.

"The United States should provide aid to developing countries according to its own agenda and budget, and not let the U. N. "coordinate" the redistribution of our wealth. "

Well said!!

Unfortunately involvement with the U. N. all to often means peacekeeping, or other deals guaranteed to put Americans in harms way, with little direct support from the U. S. population and more importantly ineffective rules of engagement.

Scollins hit it on the head, the first time you hear somthing about this we need to write, call, or email our elected officials. I'm guessing that any such legislation would make huge headlines considering our current budget and economic state.

As a WY resident I keep WY Sen's Thomas, Enzi and Rep Cubin, in my browsers favorites, suggest we all do the same.

Thanks WyoJim!

Wyo Jim, nice post.

Remeber the John Birch Society? I doubt many on this site would. The society literally and accurately projected the future threat of all the socialistic mania that is sweeping the world today. They were ridiculed by the left and called raging right wing maniacs.

They were also dead-on in their predictions.

The U. N. is the second most fearfull threat to this Republic after the liberal wing of the Democratic party.

Please remember one very important fact:

SOCIALISM IS THE EQUAL DISTRIBUTION OF POVERTY

Email your Congressman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
