well have the mystery switch for locking up the TC but was wondering about keeping the TC un locked. Have seen it mentioned a few toimes but have no idea how to wire the switch up??

TST has instructions on how to wire up the mystery switch to lock up the converter at http://www.tstproducts.com/tranny_install.html

Maybe the wire they tell you not to cut should be cut and a toggle switch used to complete that circuit. That way both switches off would mean no lockup, one switch would be standard lockup, and both switches would be full lockup. Just a thought. Good luck with it!

You can do it with one switch. Use a single pole double throw switch with center off. Cut the wire TST says don't cut. Connect the portion of the wire that goes to the transmission to the center terminal on the switch. Connect the other portion of the wire that goes to the computer control to one of the outside terminals. Connect a ground wire to the other outside terminal.

When the switch lever is in the center the TCC cannot lock. One of the on positions is the stock circuit and the other is forced lock. I mounted my switch so that up is forced lock, center is forced unlock, and down is stock behaviour.

:D Thanks for the help: Joe G. will get on that wiring this week. And to TDR this is the best thanks for all the guys and gals keeping this site going
