I always give a thumbs up to other CTD drivers (though most seem uninterested in diesel performance). There's obviously a difference between racing/being nice over being a jerk who has his head up his [censored]...
Somebody in a Cummins flips me off at a light and I'm liable to pull him out of his truck, stomp his arse and THEN smoke him.
Heck, I smile and wave at the PoSD's as they fade into the distance.
I'm happy for anybody to race, car truck or van. Some kid in a little truck tried to get my lane last night--Fat Chance.
I only pull out the SOOT stick for idiots. AIR HORNS will be coming soon-also for idiots.
Back to Tim's question--keep your foot light until the boost comes up and you'll avoid sooting like that. And "turn it up" is what you do to the inline pump trucks. That means increasing the flow of fuel at the pump. Then you add bigger injectors. Then you need more air. And there is no such thing as all the way. Ask Joe D.
I work in a very large city and my truck is my daily driver. You wont believe all the idiots that cut me off or try thinking my big truck is slow. I am in constant battle mode while commuting to work. I get the thumbs up from most other Dodge Ram drivers and in return I give a little smoke to show my thanks.

I agree completely! There are many folks out there that are driving CTD Dodges and havent a clue or just don't care about their trucks. It makes me wonder sometimes whether these people are worthy of these mighty machines.
I have met a few folks driving CTD's at filling stations etc... and gave them a copy of the TDR brochure and I think to myself (I wonder if they care or is this guy bothering me?)
no kidding phil; i've talked to many CTD owners and they don't care about it or care about the TDR at all. There was one sweet modified truck that i'd like to see at the meetings, but the guy seemed uninterested in the TDR.
