That poor guy lost his home in the forest fire, then the RM News puts a picture of him on the front page with a gnad hanging out of his cutoffs! This wasn't his day!! Even Lewis and Floorwax are disgusted with the RM News. Craig

Clarification: Monday's front page

June 24, 2002



The front-page photo of Monday's print edition left the false impression with some readers that it showed something that clearly didn’t belong in a family newspaper, a man’s testicle. The misleading effect was created by a shadow. The portrait of Fred Finlay at his burned home did not reveal anything private about Mr. Finlay. The News regrets the impression it left with some readers and any embarrassment it may have caused Mr. Finlay.

I've seen it, and it sure looks like his @$%#$ to me. Whether it is or not, it sure looks like it, and never should have been printed. I heard that KFRX felt so bad for the guy, that they are raising funds to help replace his house. The pic was the talk of the radio shows today.
