Real nice

I built a house in 2000, bought a Foremost home outta PA. Real nice looking cape cod. Solid as a rock, hard to believe it showed up on trucks and was put together with a Crane. There are a lot of advantages to this kind of home. The only real drawback is the stigma associated with pre-manufactured housing. You would really need an inside tour and a strong knowledge of construction to pick up on the fact that it was not built on site. Sold it last year for over $400k. New owners are loving it last I heard.



My new home is custom built the old fashioned way, it's nice, but not as quiet or sturdy as the Pre-fab.

My brother sells homes very similar to these. They've delivered up to 11 pieces for one house. Owners wanted a big custom looking house, but were in an area where good builders were hard to come by. They saved quite a bit going this route.
