uncorking the truck

I am going to be adding a monster exhaust and a stage 2 afe intake to my truck. Does anyone have this combination? if so how do you like it. I realize that there are cheaper alternatives but I plan on keeping this truck a long time and I feel those are quality products. Also the truck is all stock, do I need anything else to uncork it. Won't do a box or injectors yet becuase of warranty just looking for a little pick me up. would this help?

Banks??

I am assuming that the "monster exhaust" you are talking about is made by Banks? I recently installed a HOG 4" T304 stainless exhaust. I had the chance to see a Banks monster exhaust that was just taken off a vehicle. Not even a year old and it was rusted bad. It was used in a Connecticut truck where the roads are heavily salted in the winter. I would never by a Banks exhaust after seeing what I observed with my own eyes. I'm not saying that the HOG system I installed is the best, but I like it. Banks is expensive and in my opinion not very well made imho.

Intake and exhaust changes will perk it up, I noticed a drop in egt's towing, there are many types of exhaust out there and stainless is the way to go IMO if your keeping the truck for a long time!
