looks like the same X426 compressor used on most Transit buses with the exception of being mounted directly to the engine

The Yanmar is a good engine, I have one in my little John Deere and the little utility vehicles of BobCat have them.

Mike, how does I-R fit in with Yanmar??? Do they own TK? 34HP, that's bigger than I expected.

I don't think there is any cross ownership or anything...Thermoking has used Mercedes, Isuzu, Yanmar and Peugeot engines through the years.

The TriPac Truck APU's use a cute little 2 cylinder Yanmar diesel engine.

Now the bigger units as pictured use the X-430 compressor. If something really needs to be kept cold there is a Scroll compressor option. Those things are powerful.

MWilson, most of our equipment has TK units, had either the x426 or the x430 mostly T1 M63 units pretty standard on the back of a 40 foot bus.., but now they haved moved on to either a belt driven scroll compressor or we do have a some TK all electric units now that have the hermetically sealed compressor and are driven off a 400 volt 400 amp alternator.
