Boost elbow on the 03-04 555 should be used. It does allow your boost to reach 40#'s and possibly more, depending on your turbo and fuel. 04. 5-05 do not use the boost elbows, because of their electronic wastegates, unless they have after market turbos.

"but since 24 psi is reported as the max usable limit" Quote

This statement is not true, any time you have more air flow it cools better and that allows you to add more fuel for more power. Of course there are limits for boost levels depending on your turbo and engine.

This is not true at all. I've pinched my wastegate off with my EZ and gained almost 200* @ 40PSI. With no boost elbow it runs 28PSI max.

They already do- page 40 in the manual.

huh? Quadzilla's manual is only 15 pages long...

Ahh, you thought I meant EDGE... I was directing the request to Quad, heck I think EDGE's low-boost fueling is awesome!!!

With no boost elbow, my stock turbo goes to 24psi stock, 28psi at 60hp, 30-31 at 100hp, and 33-35 at 140.

How is that? Will the Hot Juice (when/if it comes out) fuel like that as well? If so, I'd be afraid to add a boost elbow to my truck.

My post stated "Depending on your turbo and fuel". This statement is for those of us who have modified or aftermarket turbos.

Your statement doesn't refer to the aftermarket boost elbow that comes with the EZ or Juice. You referred to pinching off your wastegate. There is a big difference in a boost elbow and pinching off you wastegate.

Your statement is probably true, and mine is also true if you remember that I'm not just talking about a stock turbo.

And my last statement in that same post "Of course there are limits for boost levels depending on your turbo and engine. " Everything in my post is true, you just had to read all of it. :D

The Hot Juice will fuel definately more which will probably cause your boost to go even higher.

That's why we have wastegates to adjust and you can get adjustable boost elbows. This way you can turn your truck to the max boost for your turbo and effeciency.

You should not even consider a Hot Juice with a stock turbo, clutch or auto transmission.

When I had my stock turbo, I ran the Beta Juice and it went to 42 PSI, and it survived. Alot depends on how hard it fuels down low, that's where the TST was blowing turbos.
