I would just get the Pacbrake, I did the compressor is nice. Here is another couple of pictures, one is of the air tank that comes with the brake.

Barlow, how do you like that compressor? With a tank would it air tires and run tools and such? What kind of CFM does it put out? I like the mounting kit, that comes with it right?

I have the PacBrake PRXB and here are the numbers:

PacBrake #C11613

18amps

150psi max

Duty Cycle: 25%

CFM: 2. 03

This pump works just fine for the PacBrake, and would also be able to top off tires, beach balls, etc, but it would really tax it to try to fully inflate a flat tire for your truck. The air tank is very small (i. e. not much capacity) so you would be running the compressor a lot to fill something big.

Thanks, I'll go to their site and see what other pumps they have, maybe something bigger? especially one with more than a 25% duty cycle. Thanks

MAshley, can your compressor from Kelby Enterprises fill tires, run air tools etc.

Thats exactly why I got it, :-laf funny story ... I had left a message for Kelby to call me... well I was driving down the road and my trailer blew a tire, So im sitting on the side of the highway, jacking up the trailer, lower the trailer so I can loosen the lug nuts, finding the breaker bar, prying all 8 lug nuts off, jack tire and then reinstall the lug nuts, Did I mention it was 95 out side... . anyways in the middle of this fun  my phone rings, I think I talk to the kilby guys for 20 min... I asked will it run a gun, yup was the response... well I bought it about 2 hrs latter, installed it a few days latter and WOW I love it... Oo. I have litterly taken off at least 20 tires, filled countless, on trailers and trucks, runs the 1/2 impact gun just fine. I ran tankless for a few months and your good for about 1 lug nut and then the compressor tops off the line and your good to go again, with the 2. 5 gallon tank I can get 2-3 before having to pause.

I'm curious about the VMAC unit. It looks perfect for heavy duty air tools and such, but it almost seems like you'd need a separate compressor for an air suspension system, since according to the website the VMAC only runs when the truck is in park, and you have to manually engage it. Is that true? Also, does anybody know what their systems run? They don't give any pricing on their website, and the dealer webpages I looked at weren't helpful either.

i checked awhile ago..... are you sitting down... 5500 installed for the 70 cfm and about 6500 if i remember for the 140 cfm..... by the way 70 cfm will run a jack hammr. . too much money for me, but the kilby idea works great unless you want to run a jack hammer.

From the website it didn't look like the 140cfm would fit on a Dodge. If it would fit, then I actually have a possible future business aplication for it. It turns out that 140cfm would be perfect for doing dry ice blasting for smoke damage and mold remediation, and it would be nice not having to find a place to store a tow-behind. But I'm not ready to spend the bucks on it yet.

I bought a well used York compressor & clutch early this morning off eBay for $20. If only the Kilby mounting kit was available used!
