Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Uneven idle?

I have an uneven idle, sorta like an uneven "lope". Just put Bosch 300HP injecotrs in, may have done this before just never noticed. Pulls smooth and strong. Have a Van Aaken fueling box too.



Do all 24V's idle rock solid or is a little uneveness normal or becuase I have oversized injectors?

Just this week I noticed my trucks idle was uneven. rpm goes up and down about 50 rpm . I have no clue what it is.

Do you hear the idle speed vary or just see the tach bounce? Tach bounce is normal because the tach circuitry is digital. I can hear the unsteadiness of the idle speed.

UPDATE:



The connector tube is leaking return fuel, I doubt this has any effect on the idle problem but now I have a new problem to fix :-laf

I hear mine lope a little. Not bad, but some, I also see it on the tach.

stockers were relatively smooth. Stage IIs were smooth. Jammer 4s has a bad lope at idle when warm which is why I switched to Supermentals. They idle a little better but still aren't rock steady smooth. I guess the bigger sticks can amplify a rough idle. But I have also heard trucks run with much bigger injectors than mine that were really smooth!
