Thought somebody might think this was interesting - Due to a parts mix-up,

I had the in-tank pump installed first, then a week and a half later, the VP

was replaced. So I got to drive it with my old VP, which had electrical trouble, 0216 and lots of dead pedal fits, but otherwise ran great. Well,

yesterday made day 2, and I started feeling it out, powerwise, and it just

ain't right. After I saw how weak it felt, I said to heck with it and ran WOT

across the bottom near my house - did the same thing last week with the

old VP. The difference: Now, I've got, on the same WOT run, 150 deg

less egt, 4-5 psi less boost, and the fuel gage is staying about 3-4 lbs. higher. And feels like at least 50-75 horses less to my calibrated SOP.

But at least the dead pedal is fixed - for how long, who knows. I am guessing, since supposedly timing is non-adjustable, the VP was calibrated

to flow less fuel. What do ya'll think? Anybody want to buy it? :(
