Has anyone had any experience with Uniroyal's Laredo HD/T model of tires? I couldn't find any posts about the HD/T model. The little info I could find on Uniroyal's website indicated that they are supposed to be a "commercial" tire with good tread life. They also look like they have a decent tread pattern. I couldn't find any second party reviews or opinions, however. So, if any of you all have anything good or bad to say about them, I'd love to hear it. I am looking at 235/85 on the stock 16" rims. Thanks,

Great traction in the snow. Tread blocks are very open, and very soft. Thus they will be squirrely when new and they wear fast. You might get 20,000 miles out of them. I have sold a lot of them to a local govt agency. They like the tires as far as traction in the snow and mud. They aren't too concerned about cost as they get gov't price. I think you can do better for the money as far as getting something with good traction that will wear a lot longer.

Thanks for replying, Jay. I guess the government must have put in a pretty big order with Uniroyal because I saw a bunch of the DECAM pickup trucks at Ft. Carson getting the HD/Ts. What tire would you recommend as a better alternative to the HD/T? Thanks,
