United States Postal Smashers strikes again, what to do

Well, I ordered a new stock turbo off of ebay. I received it 2 weeks later (they said 2-9 days delivery), well smashed. The turbo itself looks fine, but the wastgate and the selonoid ( i think) are dented. I don't know if it could be repaired, used as is or should I just give it back to the post office and ask them for the insurance money? #@$%!

If you can wait another 2 weeks, I'd take it back to the P. O. and show them what happened.

I paid $350 for it off of an 06. I really should cut my toenail.

The last two packages I got thru UPS came smashed. The train horns for dad's freightliner were dinged a little, not too bad. The box full of filters from genos was almost destroyed but everything was OK too... barely.

I was trying to figure out if that was a toe nail or a thumb

Looks like cosmetic damage to me. Hook up the shop air, regulate at 30 or so, and watch the gate open. You can apply a voltage to solenoid to open it too.

I think they are fine. But worst case scenario I would swap those same parts from the old to the new charger.
