Check this out - I was looking at an older motor home that has this - wow - looks fantastic - anybody know anything about these????? Unlimited Hot Water AND Heat - as well as keeping engine warm... ... ...

This kind of setup is common on boats.

Says it burns 2 to 4 gallons of diesel a day. Lets see at $2. 10 a gallon for off road diesel thats $4. 20 to $8. 40 a day. Plus the cost of the system. Propane $1. 85 a gallon at our stations & two 7 gallons tanks last two weeks heating & cooking. So thats $25. 90 for two weeks worth of propane verses best case senerio 28 gal. of diesel for two weeks = $58. 80 I think I'll stick with the propane, or maybe go solar. Nah I think I'll just become a snowbird when I retire.
