Truck with Tank-weight?

Ronald Reagan has passed away

Anyone use this service? I got the address in a spam email from them. I get at least 25+ spams a day on one of my email address. Of course it is my main address and to change it would be a lot of work. I get next to nothing on the rest of my email addresses. Years ago I tried that free credit check on line once and ever since them I have received a constant flood of spam email. I believe they sold my address. I have a spam filters on my email that does filter out the spam, but I still need to check it for that occasionally non spam email that is mark as spam. A lot of spam get by with creative spelling.

It is $21. 95 a year. I think it would work just for the legitimate advertisers and not the pill pushers, porn, and "member" lengthening junk spam.

Here is the site.

Any one have experience with them?

Cary

I have multiple email accounts and aliases. I have a special one that I use for registering on websites of unknown account security. Most of my junk mail ends up going to that account. The aliases are real handy because I can delete an alias without affecting my actual email account that the alias points to. Junk email is still better than all the trash I get via the USPS.

Unfortunately, there is no real way to stop all spam yet.

If it is a reputable company, you can try looking for an unsubscribe link at the bottom. I usually will unsubscribe using that link 4 or 5 times per received message. I will also send approximately 4~5 reply messages with the word "unsubscribe" pasted until it covers the page.

The only problem with unsubscribing to spam is, by replying to the e-mail address with "unsubscribe" you are letting the sender know that your e-mail is a real/valid address. You have just been marked as a valid receiver for even more junk.

Also, when using when creating internet accounts with companies, use an e-mail address that you do not care about, such as a Hotmail Account. They are free!

Why give 'em a "real" email address unless you're wanting more info from them? I just use -- email address removed --. :D
