SmokinJoe, Don't know who you talked to, but information in your post is not correct. MTM Enterprizes is the original design and development firm of the Oilguard filter, and they are now marketing the unit after closing a subsidiary that performed that single function. (corporate downsizing, what's new). The filter kits are available, and there's no end to availability for the replacement elements. The company has approx 1K of the large kits, 500 of the mid-size, (the one applicable to our use), and a couple of hundred of the small kits, (for 10 qt capacity and smaller). The sale will continue until existing stock is depleated, maybe a month? Also, the elements are sold nation wide under different mfg names, and are used extensively in the industrial sector. I called 904-994-2602 and talked to someone there. What I got was a line that the price was changing and that the 50% could not be honored. The person suggested I call 760-962-0892, I did and ordered at 50% off.

The 50% off deal will not last long.

Yes I understand that the filters will be available for a long time. The Oilguard system has a new part number and name but will be the same for the foreseeable future.

I was not trying to scare anyone. Those thinking about buying a bypass filtration system had better think fast, this deal may not be around long.
