Hey guys I’ve gotten some PM's about how I'm doing since my accident last November.

Here's a link if you never read about it

Well I'm doing just fine. I'm almost done with my recovery. I do need to get back into therapy since they decided to move a few cities away. I'm about 90% healed, and I still walk with a limp. It takes me a while to get moving in the morning, and I only have about 1/3 the stamina from before. I gained my weight back. I got down to 175lbs and now I'm back to 215lbs.

I need to start looking for a new career. I'm wanting to find an apprenticeship in mechanics or engineering. If someone knows of anything out there in the Sacramento area please let me know since my state disability runs out in a few months. I'm still optimistic of my new life, I hope things work out for the best.

I bought a 2003 CTD from a DTR member in February and I flew out to Texas and drove it back to California. Since then I have put my own personal touches on it but I no longer feel the need for speed so its 100% stock under the hood.

Here's a few pics of my new rig. I cant say enough good things about everyone who took such good care of me, I truly am a lucky guy.

Great update, Dan. Nice looking ride too. I had my own close call with the grime reaper & I understand some of what you mean about the need for speed.

Glad your mending well Dan. I too know the feeling of no longer having the need for speed. Although I didn't play chicken with a log truck, I did dodge a TV cable down across the road at neck level on my Harley in 2002.

Dan, glad to see you on the road to recovery. Still unbelievable to me that you survived that wreck, congrats on the new ride and continued success on your recovery. Take care man.
