Hey guys I’ve gotten some PM's about how I'm doing since my accident last November.

Here's a link if you never read about it

http://www.tdr1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147595

Well I'm doing just fine. I'm almost done with my recovery. I do need to get back into therapy since they decided to move a few cities away. I'm about 90% healed, and I still walk with a limp. It takes me a while to get moving in the morning, and I only have about 1/3 the stamina from before. I gained my weight back. I got down to 175lbs and now I'm back to 215lbs.

I need to start looking for a new career. I'm wanting to find an apprenticeship in mechanics or engineering. If someone knows of anything out there in the Sacramento area please let me know since my state disability runs out in a few months. I'm still optimistic of my new life, I hope things work out for the best.

I bought a 2003 CTD from a DTR member in February and I flew out to Texas and drove it back to California. Since then I have put my own personal touches on it but I no longer feel the need for speed so its 100% stock under the hood.

Here's a few pics of my new rig. I cant say enough good things about everyone who took such good care of me, I truly am a lucky guy.

Dan glad to hear you are doing so well. As for work, they are begging for mechanics in nothern Nevada. The gold mines around here are offering 5K sighning bonus and practically anybody that can pull a dip stick starts at 18/hr as and oiler. Needless to say the dealerships are really hurting. Might be something to think about. )I refering to the Winnemucca to Elko area. ) Good luck friend an angel rides your shoulder :)
