We've been doing some work behind the scenes to improve the overall look and feel of the site skin. Even though the previous version worked very well on mobile, on a desktop some elements were too large, there were bugs with some spacing on the site, etc.

This version should address most problems with the skin. However, if you experience any problems or bugs, please report them here and I will work to resolve them ASAP.
(Already found a minor issue with the advanced post reply buttons being too small, will resolve that!)

Much better! It really shows a lot more information without having to enlarge the screen on my iPhone. I am already a fan!

I'll try it on the laptop when I get home, that's running windows 10. I'll try both Internet explorer and Google chrome.

Found the first thing, screen running a bit to the left. Took screenshot but only allowing the "URL" option for an upload. iPhone 5.

Tried to upload photo from laptop, same result. "URL" only......no "Computer" option now......

The new "font" is much harder for my old eyes to read, especially on the screen we see where we click on a thread. Everything seems all pushed together. Maybe "crowded" would be the right word. This is on my laptop running Windows 10. I have tried zooming but it just enlarges the letters and makes the "crowding" worse. Once I get into a thread it's OK.

I see that spacing and breaks are showing up now while typing a reply but the formatting, HTML, is still not working properly.

Just my $.02

Running Google Chrome and IE11 in two separate windows....Google text is fairly sharp and clear with gray/black post dividers. IE11 text is almost a bit fuzzy with blue dividers. As soon as wife finds her glasses I'll get her input.......

Wife (the pro painter) thinks the blue on IE11 is causing the fuzzy effect. She is good with colors, me on the other hand if left to my own devices would be quite happy with white walls, black appliances and chrome and/or black leather furniture so what do I know......:D:D:D

I second this. Mayhap it would look better with an extra point or two between lines. Also, there is very little boldface text now. I.e., unread post subjects used to be boldface; mayhap it's just a matter of getting used to looking for the "go to the first unread post" icon that now appears.

Okay, I'll work on enhancements over the next couple of days based on feedback. It looks okay on my laptop, desktop and tablet, but there are many different browser/computer combinations.

See if you can get the "Computer" upload selection turned back on so we can post screen shots as needed.

I know there are a gazillion things to tweak, you'll get it.

Mike.

iPhone screenshots...all seems to be a bit to the left on the header. Facebook button half obscured..

Ahhhh!! That explains why I wasn't seeing what you were seeing.

I wondered if you were running IE11 and that Microsoft Edge snuck in...It has happened to me on two machines in a row over the last month and that really messes stuff up in odd places. Especially on Daimler software....

Looks good so far!*
I've been contemplating making a post with some pictures, and now I will test it over in general diesel.*

I have set things up so both versions are available in the bottom left of the page. Version 3 is the one we've been using for the past year. Version 4 is the new one. I will work on V4 bugs as the reports come in, and I will note in this thread when a bug is resolved.
