Upgrade from 'EZ' to 'Edge Comp'- Worth the $$$?

Edge Company will take my 'EZ' in on a trade for a 'Comp. '

My honest question is: Will I really notice a 'seat of the pants' difference to make it worth the $$$?

The 'EZ' was slightly noticeable as far as a surge in power but I got more of a feeling of increase in power with the 'DTT' transmission set up.

So, will the 'Edge Comp' really produce a worthwhile smile?

Had both YES will see a BIG differance. The comp is ajustalble while on the fly E-Z not.

I would sell the EZ on the classifieds.

Then purchase an Edge Comp outright from one of the dealers.

Edge is a little steep on price to deal with direct, probably to protect their dealers.



This will save you a good chunk of money.

By the way the Comp is a must.

The Comp will make a huge difference, in both power and EGT. They are fun to play with.

Do it! Do it! Do it!Oo. Oo. Oo. I had an EZ, sold it on Ebay for $25 more than I paid for it and bought a comp and blue chip cover from a vendor. (In my best James Earl Jones voice): Come to the dark side connect the pump wire If you dont plan on connecting the pump wire its not worth it.



Go to a vendor. The guys at PE are very cool, and service is great, but they offered me a Comp for eight bananas and my EZ on trade. I said :--) I'llcall ya back. After selling the EZ on ebay I only spent an additional on hundred twenty five bananas for the other gear. (I know were not supposed to discuss price or vendors here, but I used #ad
currency. Ya'll can figure out the conversion, and my sig probably says it all for my prefered vendor)

Robbyram,well if you read all the post you see that there are 8 YES and none of the no's. The worst case is if you buy the comp you don't have to do the pump wire But you can at some point if you choose to. It is had to not do it because of the extra horses that you gain along with the ear to ear "s that you"ll have all day while driving. Thanx Eric

I tried an EZ before I got the comp. It was nice, but not impressive. The Comp IS impressive!--just ask my clutch.
