Hi,I have a 2012 Ram 3500 Dually I haven't updated my maps since on first freebe,thinking of doing it now,but can't seem to figure out how to get the 10 digit code to come up on the Nav side so I can order on line.I tap the Nav button and all I get is something about calling garmin,but FCA has a deal to order online,They say press Nav button,then pressSettings,but no settings screen comes up,any ideas where I go from here. THx.

On my 2011 with a RHB radio I go into the Nav and from the main screen (where you pick Where To Go or Maps) there are 4 choices at the bottom and on it Settings.

You want to then choose
Settings-->System-->About

If your Nav system starts up displaying the map hit the back button (the curled arrow in the lower left corner) and that will take you back to the main screen.

From this webpage Choose Ram then your truck type, then year, then system, then instructions will be presented.

Warning about the map upgrades...
I use a Garmin GPS on my motorcycle that has the lifetime upgrades. It shows the new cross town freeway that's been in service for a couple of years now. NavTec picked it up within a year.
For some reason the integrated units software can be YEARS behind the Garmin units. My Jeep (garmin unit), Wife's Acura, and the truck all don't show that Freeway yet. NavTec provides the map data to all these devices. I suspect there is a cost to FCA to get this data and they are cheaping out.

YMMV

Yes the Navigation update that I recently installed in my 3500 don't show several California interchanges that been there at least three years, what a waste of money and time over one hour to install. Not worth much at all.
