Upgrade question

Dad has an 03 bone stock auto trans. I was wondering what small upgrades would give the most safe power for the buck? Thanks,Scrap.

I would think any box that would add about 60hp or so would be safe if you don't plan to make any other modifications - especially with an auto.

Edge, Bully Dog, TST, etc. would work. Anything more would likely require other upgrades to keep it reliable.

Would it still be a good idea to upgrade air intake and exhaust?

Of course. A better intake and exhuast always help, especially with a box of some sort. They help keep egt's down which means better milage.
