Upgrade Radio in 2006 Mega SLT

The truck is a factory strong 5. 9 auto with 3. 73s. Is there a simple (relatively simple) way to upgrade the existing factory infinity radio/cd changer/nav to a newer 4th gen touch screen system that allows use of iPods and other auxiliary inputs? The operative words here are relatively simple, and preferably with a majority of factory parts.

Not likely. I would be very surprised if the wiring harnesses are compatible.

Aftermarket sources would probably be more likely to provide what you want.

Crutchfield has a lot of stuff. Check with their tech support to see if they have something that'll do what you want.

I do know there is a way to put Mygig in it, know a few people who did it and love it, I'd do some more research on it before giving up. We gave it in a 12' Gand Cherokee, it's a great stereo

You will need a low speed mygig and a lockpic harrness. The harness will make it plug and play at least it worked for me and my 06 mega cab. I can not remeber all the in's and out's as I sold the truck a couple years ago. a google search should turn up some info for you.
