Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) upgraded slave cylinder

Is it a good idea to have the upgraded slave with a con Fe and if so where can I order one from south bend just has the part numbers for it no price or anything? Thanks

It is optional to go with the upgreaded cylinders with the FE. I'm run the stock cylinders with FE, it is a little heavier then the stock clutch but usable. I seem to remember hearing that the setup runs $300 to $350.



BTW you have to replace both the master and slave cylinders since the stock master cylinder will not push enough fluid to move the slave cylinder to release the clutch. The upgraded cylinders are actually from a 1997 and earlier truck.
