I'm looking for a mild upgrade for towing. What is a good combination. I looking at the EZ and 275's. I'm not interested in smoking the tires, just a good upgrade for towing and i would like to keep my stock clutch for a few more miles.
I have the EZ and no 275's - and no clutch slippage. From the towing experiences of those I've talked to, you can do one or the other and be OK, but if you do both you can (and probably will, eventually) overpower the stock clutch.
Thanks for the info. I already have the gauges just have to install them. Hopefully the clutch will last at least until next years tax return. I don't drive my truck to hard.
I have a Auto. Trans. Would you guys still recommend the 275's or the EZ box? I don't want to go into the transmission if I can help it. Just a tad more power would be great.
Stage 1 - 2 injectors and a ez will put your power about as high as you can use. (egt wise) with out pipe and turbo replacements. And if you bump up your line pressure the transmission should be fine there also.
