Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Upgrades

Currently on my 94' I have a pyrometer and boost guage, stock plate is full forward, afc is turned a couple turns, and i have an AFE filter. I was planning on getting a custom plate cut and 3gsk springs installed , or 370 injectors. Which one right now should i go for with a stock transmission. Pros and cons and am i missing anything. Thanks

what knid of hp goals do you have in mind??? a #10 and gov kit would wake it right up but it sounds like you have bigger plans for it Oo. are you looking for a towable setup or a all out race setup? i would definitly look into a transmission upgrade before you get to extreme.

Right now my plans are for mild upgrade until summer or next fall until i h ave the $$ for a transmission. Then i guess i will go from there

for now i would at least spend the hundred bucks and put a transgo shift kit in the transmission to increase the pressure lines alittle bit to make your torque converter alittle more happy.

transmission won't last long, because you will have too much trouble controlling that foot, once you have all the power that you have missed.

I would just do the 3k GSK for now. You will be surprised how much difference it will make for such little money.

You could get away with a #10 plate (slide it back ali) and a GSK. I nursed a sick stock transmission for about a year before it just couldn't take anymore.
